The CBS Pipe Band has been an integral part of the CBS Schools in Sexton Street since 1963.
It caters for young people from throughout Limerick City and Counties Limerick and Clare (many of whom are from underprivileged families) and provides the opportunity to participate in a variety of cultural, social and sporting events.

The Christian Brothers Schools at Sexton Street, Limerick comprise:

Coláiste Mhichíl Secondary School
                    and
Scoil Íosagáin Primary School

The band accepts members, boys and girls, aged from 8 years.
