The CBS Pipe Band, an integral part of the CBS Schools in Sexton Street, gives pupils from throughout the City and County of Limerick, many of whom are from underprivileged families, the opportunity to participate in a variety of cultural, social and sporting events.

The Christian Brothers Schools at Sexton Street, Limerick comprise:

Coláiste Mhichíl Secondary School
                    and
Scoil Íosagáin Primary School

However, the band also accepts members from other “feeder” primary schools in the city and county who intend completing their secondary education in Coláiste Mhichíl.
