Past members invariably retain their links with the pipe band, and indeed the pipe band world. As the young members grow into adulthood many invariably move from Limerick.

Ex-members have been involved both as musicians and tutors in pipe bands throughout Ireland and beyond including; Boston, Texas, New York, New Jersey, Manchester, Australia, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Slovakia and Spain. Many have also gone on to win international acclaim on the competition field including a number of Irish and indeed World Pipe Band Championship titles in both band and solo performance categories.

A number of those remaining locally are now  established business leaders and potential employers who are more than happy to recognize the merits of a CBS Pipe Band reference as a distinctive character reference for potential job applicants.
